Zoom Math FAQ
Before Buying Zoom Math
We recommend the TI-84 Plus Silver Edition. It is more than twice as fast as the TI-83 Plus, and has plenty of additional memory available for future Zoom Math products.
Zoom Math also works fine on the TI-83 Plus, the TI-83 Plus Silver Edition, the TI-84 Plus, the TI-84 Plus, and the TI-84 Plus Module on the TI-Nspire handheld.

Yes, you need to buy two Registration Keys.
Yes. Please visit our Bulk Orders and Pricing page for more details. We will even give quantity discounts to customers who don’t need all of their Registration Keys all at once. For example, if you are a math tutor who expects to need 50 Registration Keys during the coming year, but you only need 10 right away, you can pay for 50 keys to get the quantity discount, and then request the additional 40 keys later as needed.
Zoom Math is a program, not an operating system.
Installing Zoom Math
Please see our Download and Installation Instructions.
To make room on your calculator for a new app, you may have to delete other apps that you are not using.
If your calculator is a TI-84 Plus Silver Edition, then you can probably just delete some apps that are in foreign languages. For example, you may have Apps called StCrdDeu, StCrdEsp, and StCrdFra. These are just German, Spanish, and French versions of the StudyCrd app. If you don't speak those languages, then you will never want to use those apps.
To delete apps from your calculator:
- Press 2nd-MEM.
- Choose "2:Mem Mgmt/Del..."
- Choose "A:Apps..."
- Using the arrow keys, move to an app that you do not want to use.
- Press DEL to delete the app. Your calculator will ask, "Are You Sure?"
- Choose "2:Yes."
- If you need to free up more memory still, then go back to step 4.
If you delete an app that came with your calculator, and later you change your mind, then you can download that app from the Texas Instruments website.
Please contact Texas Instruments at 1-800-TI-CARES (1-800-842-2737) if you need more help deleting apps from your calculator, or if you need more help replacing an app that you deleted.
Zoom Math creates a unique code (the zCode) for each calculator. Your zCode will be twelve letters separated into three groups. Example: tpnv-ftby-ttth
If you have already loaded Zoom Math 100 or Zoom Math 200 onto your calculator, run the app, then press the ZOOM key to view the zCode.
Otherwise, follow these steps to get your zCode:
- Download the Zoom Math file to your computer for the app you want to buy.
- Install the app on the calculator via TI Connect.
- Get the zCode from the calculator by running the app and pressing the ZOOM key.
