FAQ: Before Buying Zoom Math
I haven’t bought a calculator yet. What model should I buy?
Do not buy the TI-84 Plus CE.
We recommend the TI-84 Plus C Silver Edition. We like the color screen. Eventually, our apps will look great on that calculator. (We haven’t finished adapting them to the color screen yet.)
Zoom Math also works fine on the the TI-84 Plus, the TI-84 Plus Silver Edition, and the TI-84 Plus Module on the TI-Nspire handheld.
Zoom Math will also run on the TI-83 Plus, but Zoom Math is a slow app on any calculator, and it’s twice as slow on the TI-83 Plus.
Does Zoom Math work on the TI-84 Plus CE?
No. Texas Instruments has locked out apps on that calculator.
Does Zoom Math work on a TI-83 that’s not a Plus?
No. The original TI-83 was not designed to accept additional applications.
Does Zoom Math work on a TI-89? Or a TI-92?
No. Please visit our Compatible Graphing Calculators page.
Does Zoom Math work on the TI-Nspire with the TI-84 Plus Module attached?
Yes.
I have two calculators. Do I need to buy two Registration Keys, or just one?
Yes, you need to buy two Registration Keys.
Do you offer quantity (bulk) discounts?
Yes. Please visit our Bulk Orders and Pricing page for more details. We will even give quantity discounts to customers who don’t need all of their Registration Keys all at once. For example, if you are a math tutor who expects to need 50 Registration Keys during the coming year, but you only need 10 right away, you can pay for 50 keys to get the quantity discount, and then request the additional 40 keys later as needed.
Is Zoom Math just a program or is it a new operating system?
Zoom Math is a program, not an operating system.
